Good Day, my name is Joe and I have no preference if you call me by my handle or first name, which ever you feel more comfortable with. I am a Canuck.

I have been playing games since I was a kid, born in 86', and grew up with Amiga/Commodore 64 and went from there. In the 90's my family took the SEGA route over nintendo, and to this day anything nintendo related in my opinion should be burned with all but the hottest of flames. I mean why was a green screen more popular than full colour graphics, I will never understand.

At the age of 9/10, I became world ranked in the Block Buster Gaming competitions in both 95' and 96' alongside my brother in our respective age groups in Canada, but that's where my competitive career came to an end. There were not many options at the time for me to pursue that further, and I did not care for counterstrike which was the centre of competitive gaming during this time.

I am very competitive when I play, and I am a hardcore player. I play the living hell out of this game, and have no interest in slowing down. My focus is building for PVP, but it seems with gear changes in division 2 I find myself constantly doing PVE to make up for that. If you have an A team in Div 2 I will be gunning for a spot every chance I can get. However I will not screw over a buddy to do so.

I am a hunter in my spare time, I recently switched from Rifle to Bow hunting, however I have a labrial tear in my shoulder preventing me from doing that for now. I also own a jeep JK which I take wheeling with my buds every once and while when I can go and I have the monetary flexibility to buy parts to fix it. I love talking about either of these topics at any time. Also, hockey rocks.

I am in the Canadian Military, with the Regular Force, or active duty is the term equivalent. That background has taught me to be to the point when I explain things, calm when things go south, and overall compassionate when working with people not in a military setting. I love playing with other current/retired folks as there is always that feeling of knowing someone before you meet them that serving gives people around the world. While I may talk from time to time about my job, I don't enjoy talking about it all the time, especially when I am on a tasking for various reasons so don't be offended if I prefer to keep those details brief, or even not at all.

The reason I am applying is to find a home for myself and my friend who I have been gaming with for over 10 yrs who is retired mil. We are currently in another clan in Div 2 but they are hardly active and I want to raid. I will raid over and over to get a clear before the first week is over and I feel this clan I am in, despite calling themselves hardcore, is quite the opposite for div 2.

Also I can be a windbag sometimes, Ref above...

I appreciate the time you take to read my essay with your consideration and I look forward to your response.
