Outside of the game, I'm a research analyst and director of an Institutional Review board. My interests (aside from video gaming, lol) are board games, reading, doing work around our house, tabletop RPGs, and watching documentaries. I'd also love to get into miniature painting at some point, and am starting to get into graphic novels and comics as well.
I'm interested in Seismic for a few key reasons. First and foremost is your stated policy of placing social interaction and community over gameplay. I'm highly interested in pursuing the higher-level content in Destiny 2, such as raids, crucible, and gambit, but I want the team I play with to understand that everyone has a bad game now and then. While I definitely take the time I spend with the game seriously, I understand that all things considered, gaming is supposed to be fun, not grief.
Second, I'm interested in Seismic because you are an active clan and require people to use microphones. Not only is it frustrating to get a clan invite only for none of the members to talk or coordinate, it's slightly frustrating to know that half of the players have not touched the game for months. One of my goals in joining this clan is to have a dedicated playerbase to share the game with; if half of team has ghosted the game, the point of the clan is defeated. I also want to be sure that when I'm ready to play the game with a team, I have at least a few people who will be consistently available.
Finally, Seismic interests me because you play a lot of other games that I've been interested to play with a team. I play Monster Hunter World, play to play The Division 2, and used to play Rainbow Six Siege; I continue to enjoy my time with games like these solo, but I'm curious to go on a hunt in MWH with a friendly group, and the built-in multiplayer isn't really conducive to that.
Hope this helps. Looking forward to hearing from y'all soon! :D
