Hello, my name is Skyler, I'm currently 27 years old and from Salt Lake City, Utah. I'm a lifetime gamer, starting back with the N64 and Gameboy Color when I was elementary school. I've played D1 since the TTK days and did lots of raiding, getting all the armor and weapons with my small group of friends, and have been playing D2 since launch, though I took a break between Y2 and Shadowkeep. I'm looking to get back into raiding, since it's my favorite part of the game, but trying to LFG has really killed my enthusiasm, as anyone who has tried it can attest. I'm definitely a skilled raider, having done all the D1 raids and lots of raiding back when Star Wars the Old Republic (SWTOR) launched, completing the largest and most difficult raids with my clan at the time, though I'm definitely a bit rusty and a little slower than I used to be. I'm certainly not a competitive person, mainly preferring the camaraderie that comes with dedicated raiding, as well as the satisfaction of completing difficult content with a group of likeminded individuals.
I currently work full time, am going to school for my Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, and DM a weekly group of D&D so my free time is at a premium like any other working adult. I can certainly make time for weekly events, and if the culture is right (which it seems to be), I would also like to involve my girlfriend who is similarly interested but has soured due to her experiences in LFG.
I have all the expansions and the current season pass, and plan to continue doing so unless Bungie somehow makes an even worse expansion than Curse of Osiris.
I look forward your response
