Well the majority of the past five or so years has been spent in leadership for a couple different gaming communities on xbox. It's been rough the past couple of years as I have been playing more and more on the pc. Now that I am pretty much entirely on the pc and my xbox is for watching netflix I find that I don't have many people to game with on pc. I love Overwatch but it's a game that can get old playing by yourself all the time. I help with a small Christian Gamers group that's primarily on ESO. I love getting to help but it's not a gaming community in the sense I know of gaming communities where you hang out with each more days then not and you can pretty much always find someone to game with. It's a great group but I miss being part of a community. Not to be braggy, but just to share some personal history I've made it up to Director in the first gaming community I was in, but I couldn't stand the way Senior Leaders treated their members and allowed people to treat each other. The last community I was in I was Chief Administrative Officer but, it's difficult being in a community for a console you don't really play on. It wasn't fair to stay in a position in a community I had to force myself to be active in because I'd rather be on pc. Fortunately I had someone that was in a position to be able to take over for me but I haven't found a community since then. I'm a veteran on disability so not to be completely geeky but I spend most of my time gaming. Going out can cause me a lot of anxiety so I think that's probably my biggest reason for wanting to join Seismic. To have a community I can grow to be comfortable with hanging out and gaming. I really miss that. Whelp... I'm not really sure what else to say and I feel like i've babbled on enough lol. Hopefully everything works out, at the least thanks for the opportunity to try and find a new community.
