Division Apex Legends

Hello dear seismic.gaming crew!

The feeling of filling out an application reminds me of the good old CS 1.6 days.. and I can count on one hand how many of these I had to fill out in the past decade 'n' a half..

Who am I?
My name is Mathew (Mathias in german) and probably beat most in a 1v1 cook-off (jks aside ;P)
I'm 27 years old and currently doing a bachelors degree in Tourism / Economics

If somebody asked to describe myself I'd say I'm a driven person and maybe slightly egoistic but only to be able to put myself in a position where I can help out Friends or Teammates better if that makes sense. Doing a lot of in/post-game research I often find myself in a situation where I seem demanding or have to take care of things and teach my peers which I do really like and appreciate. I don't like to be a nuisance and rather be someone to rely on and able to rely to but at the same time I tend to expect these qualities from others aswell as from myself. Other than that I've never had any real issues and know how to work with and around people, at the end of the day it's a game and most things work themselves out anyways.

What have I been up to the past 15 years?
I've got a long history of competing in multiple genres and tournaments over the years in the 1v1, 2v2 or 5v5 format:

CS 1.6, mostly with friends / clan members for fun

Unreal Tournament 2004, also mostly for fun but with a deeper clan structure and sometimes organized matches.

Dawn of War: WinterAssault - Soulstorm, the first real accomplishments, ranking 3rd in Dark Crusade (clan tournament/team based system of 1v1s+2v2s) and 2nd in 'Esl Amateur Series' (1v1') ladder, which in both games consisted of the best players in the world at that time. Both with the clan called sIN.Gaming and a shame that right after we got really decent Dawn of War would soon retire as a WCG title...
Aswell as a couple of honorable mentions and collecting 'online trophies' for ranking highest in several but meaningless ladders at once.

CS:S, biggest Achievement here was the 'ESL Pro Series' Qualification tournament which we sadly didn't nail, overall great team+experience with several bootcamps included, good times.

Warcraft III, Age of Empires2, League of Legends with a small circle of friends getting into competitive/match-making over the years

Currently, I have been playing Path of Exile until the moment I found APEX Legends!

Expectations / Closing Thoughts

I'm looking for a friendly, yet competitive environment with a couple of members that could work together longterm and may even play some other new or old games in the future. I'm perfectly fine with joining a huge organisation with 40 or more people in it but I've seen time and time again that clans try to force themselves on newer players to get to know literally every member around and create an anxious environment where you have to greet 10 people or adding half the clan into your friendlist just for the cause - and for me this is a big turnoff - if that's the case I'm not your guy!

Other than that I hope there will be a bunch of people that enjoy the game as much as I do and a matching rythm to maybe even go deeper or semi-professional, who knows :).
