Hi, my name is Rich. I have been playing COD online more and more during the pandemic. I treated myself to a gaming PC having spent awhile making do on PS3 and PS4 playing campaigns on second hand COD titles that I had made my way through before that. I have enjoyed finding my feet in Warzone Plunder, purely due to finding BR too demanding as a new online player (and getting tired of the Gulag every few minutes).
So I've been playing (mostly at weekends) to improve my aim and survival rate using Plunder as a method that allows easy re-spawns and playing in random groups that have on occasion been enjoyable but which most of the time haven’t delivered such an enjoyable gaming experience.
I understand that many people are tiring of the COD MW/CW versions and the Warzone map in general, but as an infrequent gamer I still love the Warzone concept and especially the Verdansk map and the different zones that this includes. I prefer playing the modes that use the full map vs. the multiplayer modes and I enjoy the pace and style of the group based modes.
I have audio (gaming headset with mic) and have tried to use this when playing in COD randoms (with v limited success). I even changed my Clan name (it's currently "Talk?") to try and create some interest in a more cohesive team game play but to limited success.
I have already joined a couple of COD Discord groups and from my limited involvement these have been more enjoyable than the random groups but I haven’t spent too much time in these (one of the Discord groups changed name and approach, and there isn’t always someone online when I want to play which is normally early evening UK time or over the weekends just not in the late night/early hours.
I am interested to improve further and play more in BR team mode and like the sound of the Seismic Gaming attitude and expectations.
When I’m not playing online, I work in Fintech and am part of a large team building new financial service products. I have interest in Tech generally and enjoy the fusion of this in the online gaming community that I would like to become more actively a part of. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
