Hi, I'm cowdoy! I'm primarily interested in Seismic Gaming for the laid back atmosphere. I don't have friends who are as interested in Rocket League as I am, so I'm looking for some people to play with regularly. Of course winning is nice, but I prefer building relationships with friends and the camaraderie of playing together. Besides, I couldn't be a sweaty try-hard even if I wanted to: I'm married with a one-year-old daughter and can barely find the time to play as it is.

I'm a data engineer for a living and I'm very analytical, sometimes to a fault. I latch onto any hobby I come across that has a high skill ceiling. In the past that's been Rubik's Cubes, yoyos, throwing knives, disc golf, Rocket League, and a few more. I love analyzing what it takes to improve, putting in the work, and seeing my progress. Rocket League scratches that itch so well: it's a fundamentally simple game with a seemingly infinite skill ceiling.

I love music. I played the saxophone (another area with a high skill ceiling) for 10 years throughout school and almost went to college for music before switching to computer engineering. Nowadays I don't play much, but I love listening to music. I have thousands of songs saved to playlists, but most of the time I try to find that new song or artist that I'll listen to on repeat. I have a wide open mind and I'll listen to anything.

I'm a huge baseball fan, the Baltimore Orioles being the team I root for. I know, I know, they suck. But I was born in Maryland and I'll support them until the day I die. Cal Ripken Jr. was ending his career as I got into baseball in the late 90s and I was hooked.

You can find me online for an hour or two a couple days during the week, and generally for a few hours on the weekend.

Thank you for your consideration! I look forward to joining the Seismic community.
