Division Destiny 2

Hey there,

I'm Ryan. I live in the midwest of the US, and am confident that I need one of those "stereotypical middle-aged white dad who misses his youthful days of hardcore gaming" starter kit memes. I spent my teens and twenties working just enough to pay my bills and allow me to game to my hearts content. Used to do a lot of raiding, (mostly WoW) but eventually did a little bit of growing up and was convinced to stop having fun or being happy and instead jump into a career in a remote oil field, doing some pretty cool but stupidly dangerous inspection work. Filled time away from said oil field with being tricked into getting a wife and kids...

Have since had a change in values and now the wife and kids aren't too bad, although the cat is sometimes the best company, as she doesn't talk much and just wants to sit on me. Oil field career got put on the shelf in lieu of transitioning into something that allows me to be home at night. Enter stage right: Global Pandemic. Like a lot of people, I've been at home with a lot of time on my hands, and have been using it to better myself.
I've managed to get certified administrating CRM software and am doing some volunteer work to help non-profits get their platforms sorted out. It only soaks up a few hours a week, currently. When I'm not sleeping, doing stuff with the wife and/or kids, I find myself migrating back to PC gaming, like I used to do. Lately, Destiny 2 has been my kick. I haven't seen any of the raid content, and would love to be able to do so.

In terms of social gaming, I definitely miss having a clan or guild to chat and play with on a regular basis. Made a lot of great friends and been on some cool vacations just because of the people gaming has introduced me to.
