Why would I want to be part of Seismic?
When I read that Seismic considers every member part of the family, I was sold. I need people who genuinely respect each other while playing the game and look at it positively even after a loss. Mistakes are human and I don't blame others for mistakes. I only beat myself down, that's just part of my own perfectionism, which I am trying to work on. I was member of a community with all high plat and diamond members and I thought I had found the group I wanted to play with. We were playing well up to a certain point and then the mentality suddenly changed. The mentality became more toxic and individual and I really started not feeling well in that community. I started losing matches with them and couldn't really play well, due to lack of motivation. My seasonal k/d dropped a lot from 2.1 to the current 1.62 due to the lack of motivation with the people I had to play with. K/D isn't everything of course, but we were not winning, so we were not getting enough frags overall. Seismic sounds a lot more friendly and I am more interested in such a community. I'm still not a ranked master in any way and I am always open to suggestions. If people know stuff, then they should teach me. I love learning and getting better and Seismic really sounds like a good opportunity to do both. I play Casuals with friends where we teach each other stuff, I will have that same mentality in Seismic where I can invest some time in playing ranked with new (and most likely good people), not to mention that I get to meet those new people. I'm very interested in seeing what my next potential chapter in Seismic will look like.
