I have played all kinds of games for years, but the genres that I played competitively are always either MOBAs or FPS games. And, Battlefield has always held a special place among them as 1942 was one of the first games that drew me in with its atmosphere and mechanics, although I had been into the fast-paced games like Quake, Unreal Tournaments, and Half-Life Crossfire up until that point. These days I am looking for a new community where I can play with people trying hard but doing this with manners. :)
