Hello,

My name is Maarten (alias Linkfish) , I'm 31 years old and live in Maidstone, Kent, United Kingdom.
I've played games since I was 12. I wish I had more time to play them now, but I still game a lot during evenings and weekend.

For a living I am currently a Technical Services Teamleader at a tech company called Emarsys, I run the 2nd level support team there.
I've got strong computer skills, deep level knowledge of Linux and some coding skills.

I'm engaged, no children (yet) , in my past time I love gaming, anything tech related, bonsai trees, and I have my own recording studio at home, I play guitar, piano and I sing. I also have a very large cat named Floyd.

What I'm looking for in SEISMIC is a nice friendly community to play games with. I've selected BF5 as I would enjoy playing that in a squad over microphone and would even enjoy clanwars, but I play many other games, such as Rocket League, Stardew Valley, Stationeers, Minecraft, Stellaris, Dying Light, No Mans Sky, you name it. I'm pretty broad minded when it comes to games, I am basically just looking for a nice bunch of people to hang out, and play with. The social aspect is very important to me, not just the gaming, I also like to just get to know people and have a good chat with some beers and good banter.

Given my technical experience I can help with dedicated server setups. I have one at home that solely runs on LINUX, and is available for (small) servers, if need be. I can also help out other members with any technical issues and hardware advice.

My PC specs:

* i7 8700K OC-ed to 4.9 GHz
* NVIDIA Aeorus 1080 TI
* 16GB G-Skill RAM (3000mhz or some)
* Samsung 970 1TB NVME SSD
* Z370 Gaming 7 Mobo
* Acer Predator X34a 3440x1440 100hz Gsync monitor
* A plethora of speakers and sound equipment / microphones (seriously high end)
* A small i7 8GB RAM headless server running Ubuntu Server

I hope you'll consider me.

Kind regards,
Linkfish
