Hello!

My name is Jake, or JBeerdo! I am a graphic designer in Atlanta, GA with a wife and a 6 year old puppy named Tucker. When those don't take up my time I am either gaming (obviously), axe throwing, trying to get in better health, and recently going to the shooting range. Avid College football/basketball fan. (Miami Hurricanes)

Why do I want to join Seismic? (bare with me it all comes together at the end.)

I have been playing games online since Christmas of 05 with the launch of the Xbox 360. It started with halo 2 then grew into many different games. I joined my first community Shadow Corp around 06ish Playing Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, and and BF2: MC. Was recruited because of being so how on the Sniper leader board (leader boards LOL how times have changed with esports.) I made a family there and still talk/game to a few to those guys today almost 14 years later. fast forward a yearish later I rose threw the ranks and had my own competitive Cod team within the organization preparing for the launch of Cod:4. There was a falling out between most of the members because of who had been elected as leader of the organization. This ultimately led to the downfall of the community and half split off to make their own community and the other half just lived in the ashes of what remained. My team went on to play GameBattles under the name Exiled until we went our seperate ways in our quest to be the top GB team.

Since then playing on and off in competitive communities (Cod/Gears Of War) there is a lot of team hopping, a lot of trading around players for the best lineup skill/chemistry wise. Until I quit playing in 2012. Went off to college, joined a fraternity, met my now wife, enjoyed life. in 2016/2017 I started hardcore gaming again and early this year I moved to PC. Not knowing a whole bunch of people I am looking for a family similar to what I had years ago. To be away from the constant team hopping/changing the group of gamers I game with. I am just looking for a home/community to create memories have a good time and enjoy my time gaming with fellow level headed gamers looking for a good time. I think Seismic has that. That is why I want to join Seismic.
